Set Project: Look 2/ Aurora

Aurora in Literary means the dawn. I chose this name due to the tie dye effect this look was going to give off. I chose Tie dye as it is going to be a statement in spring/ summer 2021. The effect was made to show off the chaos of the flame and how they look at the second stage of a wildfire which is slight fire. The materials which will be used for this are organic cotton for the dress and gloves, rubber from algae and squids in and the bag from Qmilch for the fringes.

The sketches i made are shown below and they are scanned and will be digitalised:

The colour palette is shown below:
The main inspiration for this look was:

I used the Aura the Northern lights project in combination similar colours of fire to make the tie dye of this design.
The inspiration for the dress was cut out to show the ripping apart of life from potentially something that no one would imagine that it becomes a death tool:fire.

The inspiration for the cut out on the top was inspired by this top.
Additionally the concept of tie up tops as the one indicated above inspired me for the strap connecting the top. Nevertheless the concept of the dress indicated below inspired me for the whole look of the dress.
The design of the skirt came as an inspiration to me from different skirt designs shown below.
For the bag i was drawn inspiration from fringed bags which are trending in the upcoming season. I used this technique as it reminded me of flames for the specific look. I am not a major fan fun of fringed bags but it drew the look together and it was associated to the theme hence took advantage of it. Additionally yellow bags are trending in the next season which really associate the whole subject.

For the flats i was inspired by kitten heels shape and form. I really like kitten heels as i believe they are diachronic and comfortable. Due to the fact that this look seems eccentric in order for it to be more diachronic i chose flats for shoes.

Overall this look means so much as it had to be fierce in order to give emphasis to the dynamic of the beginning of a fire. Process will be up shortly.
