Set project: look 4/ Mysterious Vermillion
For this look i chose this design, colour palette and name as it reminded me of something gloomy, haunted and death which is what happens in the last stage of ignition which is just before the fires goes out. I chose this dim colour in order to represent death and the beginning of a new life. I chose red as it is a statement for the upcoming season. This whole look is like the angel of death. For the materials of this look i chose Qmilch and organic cotton for the dress to accentuate the bodycon fit, Pinatex and organic hemp for the bag and for the gloves i chose small proportions of organic bamboo linen, Qmilch and Squids in. This look had to be dramatic as it is the moment just before everything turns pitch black.
I liked the fit and polo neck and how dramatic this is.
The polo neck statement and how it is at the bottom.
The whole dress from the fit to the top part to the red.
Open back statement.
The bottom part.
The bodycon fit.
The dress on the right hand side.
The top and flow of fabric.
The bottom fit and material.
Using all of these ideas i created the top look which is not that extreme but with the colour and general dramatic flow of the gloves and bag creates this eccentric but elegant look.
For the gloves i was inspired by the options below. I wanted this look to have gloves to give an eerie look.
For the bag i was inspired by mini bags in order to not take away the attention from the dress.
Good work well done - I am glad you are enjoying your designs!
