Set project: Guidance research & Selection of name for Collection
This post is being created to recap some of my ideas and make some things more clear about this collection. I am finding not doing this collection sustainable a bad action towards the environment considering last terms collection and my words around it. The reason is because it has to be affordable but the materials will be partially organic cheap materials. The concept will be the fallen angel and the collection will be casual night wear including 2 2 pieces and 2 slinky black dresses. Most designs will contain some form of graphic along with the actual 3D piece. What I am finding challenging at the moment is coming up with a name. I did some research which I will post underneath, which is about the name of the collection. It will be called Azazel, which means sacrificial goat just like Rosie which became Raquel in my story telling. I will be researching The fallen angel and what fallen means etc, a bit of the painting pre raphaelites "The lady of Shalott"as I enjoy the mystic vibe it gives off, Complex Geometries as I liked the aesthetic of the brand hence I will be looking at the asymmetry of the clothes to gain some inspiration, Ed Hardy's designs, Nensi Dojaka, Alexander McQueen and Gucci. Additional research will include the materials I will be using and specifically which trends of Spring/Summer 2021.

Name of Collection: Azazel (Navuluri, 2019)
Azazel was one of heaven's most smart and powerful angels but when God created "man" he refused to bow down to him and hence revealed his rebellious streak. God then realised that he was not suitable for Heaven hence sent him down to earth along with other angels. This angered him hence began teaching witchcraft to people and weapon making to men. He also taught women to be "preposterous" and wear makeup etc. He also made many monstrous children and in other words brought evil to the world. He brought evil and corruption to humanity and he is even the Jewish Book of Enoch commands its readers to ascribe all their sins to him (Geller, 2017).

Good reasons for choosing this title - explanation make this a lot clearer. I think it sums up your project and links the fallen angel aspect to your outcomes nicely. According to christianity.com, Azazel was a scapegoat, used to blame for human sinning. Quote from the website here: 'Azazel, in this passage, seems to be synonymous with a term known as a scapegoat. We use that phrase colloquially to mean placing blame on someone who has done no wrong, to set free those who have done wrong from punishment.'
