Planning Primary Research

For my Primary Research I have decided to plan a questionnaire and conduct 2 interviews.

The reasoning behind this is to understand how much my collection would sell in the real world and place emphasis on how people perceive clothing either not wearing it due to judgement or because they do not like it. This is in regards to my previous post where I talked about the aim of my collection which is making people feel empowered and that no one is perfect. I want to do this questionnaire using google forms as I want to see how people view this concept but also see how much on average a female student spends on clothes to make my collection affordable and see what is considered affordable amongst students.

The questions I will ask will be as follow:

How old are you?

What is your occupation?

Is fashion to you?

Would you wear?

Are you afraid to wear something bold and different due to being judged?

Would you wear clothes if they were part of a movement?(positive one about acceptance of being different)

Do you want to feel empowered in you clothes?

Do you always wear sustainable clothing?

Is it due to them being?

On average how much would you spend on a bottom?

On average how much would you spend on a top?

What are your favourite bottoms for spring/summer?

What are your favourite types of tops for spring/summer?

On a casual summer dinner what are you most likely to wear?

Do you like graphics on clothes?

The complete questions, meaning the choices etc will be posted once I type my questionnaire and is ready to be published as screenshots along with the link.

  1. Excellent post, except who are you giving this survey to? I'm not sure you make this clear here, but some of the questions would get very different responses from people at different points in their lives.
