Chamuel is the Archangel that brings one to inner peace. This angel comes when you are in stress and are feeling troubled due to several reasons. In this case, revolving our collection, Chamuel is an important step as after "falling" meaning making mistakes and understanding from them one has to find inner piece and connect to himself or else one will go crazy and become self blaming. The effect that this outfit has to give out is dynamic due to what people need to feel after a downfall. In addition in my opinion, gloves and high necks in combination with open backs give me this feeling, especially gloves as they remind me of royalty and the queen which reigns a whole country. For this look I chose sheer which will be trending this summer, cut outs for the back, mini bag and heeled sandals. The dress will be made out of polyester, the bag out of leather, the graphic out of fabric paint, the gloves out of mesh and the shoes out of metal, leather and rubber.
The sketches I made are shown below and will be digitalised.
The colour palette is shown below:
The main inspiration for this look was:
As it is viewed from the garment the Archangel is wearing, the technique of draping is visible. In my opinion, the form of draping portrays a sense of purity hence the reason why I did it with the dress. I did it show that everyone is pure in their own way even when being dynamic or making mistakes. One who is willing to accept that they have made a mistake and are willing to fix it and be okay with themselves
are pure human beings who have fallen and it has to be normalised hence the movement of the collection. In addition even if the garment is too revealing just like the anime queen above this does not mean that someone does not have self respect or is something necessarily bad, it has to be normalised too and urge people to become confident with themselves and portray and feel self love.
The inspiration for the dress was as follows:
From the maxi dress below, I loved how low rise it is and how the back is complemented in this way.
From the image below I liked how subtle the closing of the front was to the back and how low the dress fell above the backside.
From the maxi below I liked the open back element and the form of draping on the back as well.
From the Calvin Klein dress I liked the high neck element.
From the dress below I liked how it seems bodycon on the waist but is actually loose and drapes along with the high neck collar.
I liked how the dress wraparounds the neck and falls in that manner.
I liked the open back shape.
I liked the ruched movement on the side which I incorporated a bit in my design.
I liked the draping and the fact that it is sleeveless. I also liked how it drapes at the breast area giving elegance.
I liked the whole design.
I liked how it falls on the body.
My inspiration for the gloves were:
The inspiration for the bag was:
I really liked this mini bag especially, because it is used as a message. I was inspired because my message was yolo, in order to allow people to be free to be themselves and not care about what other people think about them.
The inspiration of the shoes were as shown below:
The element I was seeking for was metal lettering on the strap.
Overall I am satisfied with my research and the process will be up.
