Set Project: look 6/ Kaisug

Kaisug is defined as courage in Cebuano. The reason why i chose to name this look courage is because even though it is the official last part of a wildfire which is devastation and sadness for the people, animals and homes lost the side effects of the wildfire in the long run will be ,much more worse. But this look comes off as courage to hold on for something better hence it is ripped on one side and is sheer and revealing in order to let go in a sense of the darkness and look at the future and how to improve the situation. To manufacture this look i chose rubber from algae for the shoes and organic hemp, Pinatex for the bag, organic bamboo linen for the pants, Squids in for the tights and Squids in and Organic bamboo linen for the bodysuit.

The sketches are shown below.

The colour palette:

The inspiration for the bag came from these tiny bags shown below and generally tiny bags as they are in fashion the last seasons.

For the shoes i went with classic pumps in order to avoid the look from being too busy and crowded with statement pieces. Additionally pumps are a statement piece themselves and are diachronic along with being classy.

For the tights i was inspired by regular black fishnet tights.

For the pants i wanted to create a general work pant in a sense for that side with minimal flare.

For the top i was generally inspired by bandeaus, in combination with sheer tops but what really caused me to design this top were the images below.

Overall i fell in love with this look as it is something unique and special but also sexy without trying too hard.
